Old Furniture Removal

The old sofa, mattress or wardrobe that won’t fit in your new home doesn’t have to end up on the pavement. Often there’s no room for a skip outside the building, or the council collection takes weeks. Our team comes round, dismantles what’s needed, carries everything down the stairs or in the lift and loads it onto our truck — you don’t lift a finger. Book it on its own or on the same day as your move.

The cost depends mainly on the volume of your belongings, the floors and whether there is a lift, the distance, and whether you need packing. Moving a studio costs much less than a three-bedroom home. That’s why we always give a free, written quote once we know the details of your move.

For a first idea, see the indicative starting prices in our price list or try a quick cost estimate. Only the written quote gives the final price: send us a few details through the quote form or photos of your furniture on WhatsApp — we usually reply the same day.

Yes. Our moves are covered by transport insurance. Before the move we tell you in writing exactly what is covered, the maximum compensation and how to report damage. For high-value items such as artworks or antiques, we can discuss extra cover before moving day.

For a home move we suggest contacting us two to three weeks ahead, especially if you want a Saturday or the end of the month, which are the busiest dates. For small moves we often have availability within one or two days. The earlier you book, the more time slots you can choose from.

Basic furniture protection — blankets and stretch film — is included in every move. Boxes, bubble wrap and packing by our team are charged separately and listed clearly in your quote, so you know in advance exactly what you pay.

Yes. We cover all of Athens and Attica, from the centre and Piraeus to the northern, southern, eastern and western suburbs, with the same professionalism everywhere. We don’t take on moves outside Attica, so we can focus fully on quality and speed within the city.

We always check before the move. Most large furniture comes apart and fits easily. When the total volume is more than one truck, we arrange a second trip or a second vehicle on the same day. If your home needs a furniture lift (crane), we’ll tell you honestly during the estimate.
